I got this at Claire's in the mid 90s. I had plenty of toys as a child, thus didn't feel the need to ask my parents to get me stuff very often. This was one of the few things I asked for the second I saw it, Sailor Moon merchandise was basically impossible to come by and I couldn't miss the opportunity. Back then, I didn't know what anime was and saw the sailors as if they were particularly awesome Disney princesses from a different, though possibly similar, studio. I wondered why I didn't see more products related to them, so finding this, even if it was clearly a cheap bootleg, was awesome.
These pencils are amusing, they tried to make it recognizable yet different. ON top we have Sailor Moon chibified. She has the least changes with pigtails in bows in place of her meatball hair.
Next we have Sailor Jupiter, her hair is green, her skirt is red, her bow is blue and she has some yellow on her uniform top.
Finally there's Sailor Mars with Sailor Venus' hair and Sailor Jupiter's costume.
